The role will involve regular travel, including overnight stays, and comes with either a company car or car allowance. You will play a key role in improving service avoidance practices across the business by providing coaching, advice and technical expertise to operational teams.\nWhat will your day look like...\nDelivering site-based CAT (Cable Avoidance Tool) & Genny coaching for supervisors, site teams and operatives.\nCompleting new starter competence assessments and annual competence reviews for site teams.\nCarrying out post-incident assessments before teams restart work activities.\nSupporting investigations into near misses and identifying trends relating to underground services.\nObserving, challenging and improving excavation practices on site.\nActing as a subject matter expert on service avoidance for projects and bids.\nAssisting with the identification of utility assets where records or services are unclear.\nSupporting Site Management teams with downloading and reviewing CAT data.\nAbout you...\nEUSR CAT 1: Locate Utility Services qualification \nEUSR CAT 2: Implement Safe Excavating Practices qualification (desirable)\nPrevious excavation or civils experience\nExperience using Radiodetection CAT and Genny equipment \nStrong interpersonal skills with the confidence to coach and influence operational teams.\nGood IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.\nExperience using CAT Manager and the Radiodetection online portal would be advantageous.\nWhat's in it for you...\nWe offer a rewarding salary that is tailored to your skills and experience.
