Every vehicle and every team member plays a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and reliability around the clock.\nAbout the Role\nThe Fleet Associate is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, charging, and performing light technical inspections on Avride’s autonomous vehicle fleet. This role ensures that every vehicle is connected, updated, and ready for deployment, addressing both cleanliness and basic maintenance needs to support daily fleet performance.\nAvailable Shifts\nMonday - Saturday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM\nWhat You'll Do:\nWash and detail vehicles inside and out, including windows, surfaces, and cargo areas.\nEnsure vehicles are properly charged and ready for dispatch each morning.\nConduct basic mechanical inspections (tire pressure, lights, fluid levels, wipers, etc.).\nPerform light maintenance such as replacing wiper blades, bulbs, or topping off fluids as trained.\nReport any mechanical or safety issues promptly to the Operations or Fleet Maintenance team.\nMove vehicles safely around the lot and in and out of charging bays.\nMaintain accurate logs of cleanings, inspections, and maintenance actions completed.\nKeep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with all safety and environmental standards.\nSupport other overnight operations as assigned.\nWhat You'll Need\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nValid driver’s license with a clean driving record\nPrevious experience in automotive cleaning, detailing, or light mechanical work preferred\nBasic understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance checks\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor or garage environments\nDependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying potential issues\nBenefits:\nPre-tax commuter benefits\nEmployer Subsidized Healthcare Benefits thru our 3rd party employer of record partner\nFlexible Spending Account for healthcare-related costs\nShort and long-term disability and life insurance thru our 3rd party employer of record partner\n401k package\nCommitment:This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed through our trusted Employer of Record partner, who manages payroll, benefits, and local compliance on our behalf.
