This is a permanent, full-time position of 80 hours fortnightly.\nYou will be eager to develop new skills and adapt to the specialized environment of haematology, working effectively both independently and collaboratively. Highly organized, detail-focused, and approachable, with a strong commitment to quality and patient care. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional accuracy, strong analytical abilities, and the initiative to thrive in this precise and demanding role.\nAbout you | He kōrero mōu\nTo be successful in this role you need to have:\nA team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.\nExcellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills.\nThe ability to work independently, while in a supported role.\nRegistration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician\nFlexibility with your working hours will be invaluable to the team.\nA sound knowledge of laboratory operations including safety, operation of equipment and hands-on practical Haematology experience preferred.\nEligibility to work in New Zealand.\nIf you do not yet have your registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of becoming qualified.\n\nWhat’s in it for you | He aha mōu:\nYou will be joining a friendly, high-performing, and forward-thinking team environment.
