You know a six-second bumper and a 30-second pre-roll are different crafts, and you know a creator’s footage needs a different hand than a polished shoot.\nThis is a contract role.\nWhat you’ll actually do:\nEdit digital and social content across every platform and placement\nCut OLVs, pre-roll and bumpers. Hook early, land the brand, respect the runtime\nShape influencer and creator footage into content that works for the brand and still sounds like the creator\nBuild versions. Multiple lengths, ratios and cutdowns, without losing the idea\nWork directly with creatives and producers on pacing, structure and story\nJuggle multiple jobs and edits at once. Keep your own priorities straight, flag what’s at risk, hit your dates\nOwn your files, exports, specs and timelines. No chasing\nUse AI where it helps. Faster assembly, transcription, cleanup, versioning. So more of your time goes to the craft\nWhat you need:\n3+ years experience. Agency, production house, in-house or creator side, we don’t care\nReal editorial instinct. You can find the moment in hours of footage and cut everything else\nFluency in platform behaviour. You know what works on TikTok, Reels, YouTube and why\nPremiere Pro, plus enough After Effects and Photoshop to get things done\nSelf-organized. You run several edits at once without needing someone to manage your day\nCuriosity about AI tools and the judgment to know where they speed things up and where human taste still has to make the call\nA killer eye, sense of style, and taste in reference\nAn ear. You can cut to music and you know when a track is doing the work for you\nYou know your specs. Formats, aspect ratios, transcoding, delivery to platforms and partners\nA reel that shows range, not one style repeated\nNice to have:\nMotion graphics and design skills. Kinetic type, simple animation, clean supers. If you can make a cut move without handing it off, that’s a big plus\nTypographic judgment.
