Learn more about us and what we do at aware.com.au Your New Role Join our Investment Reporting team for a six-month opportunity, combining investment reporting with hands-on automation and AI delivery.\nYou’ll support the production and quality of investment reporting while building practical solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, the Power Platform and Python to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls and improve how reporting gets done. 6-Month Max Term Opportunity Melbourne or Sydney Key responsibilities include: Produce, validate and deliver scheduled and ad hoc investment reporting, ensuring data and analytical content are accurate and meet reporting requirements. Investigate data quality issues and exceptions, working with internal teams and external providers to resolve reporting inputs and data verification breaches. Identify high-value opportunities to automate recurring reporting activities, considering efficiency, feasibility, risk and control requirements.\nBuild practical automation and AI solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI and Python. Deliver solutions into controlled use with appropriate testing, documentation, human review and knowledge transfer, leaving sustainable capability beyond the six-month contract. Previous experience in investment reporting, investment data, analytics or a similar investment operations environment. Hands-on capability with Python and Power BI, combined with an interest in using AI and automation to solve practical business problems.\nExperience with investment platforms and data tools such as Aladdin, eFront, Pearl, GoldenSource and Bloomberg, or comparable systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data exceptions and maintain accuracy across complex reporting processes. Comfortable working independently and collaborating across Investment, Data, Technology, Risk and Compliance teams to take solutions from idea through to controlled implementation.\nYou are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
