SAP Solution Architect

The SAP Solution Architect will play a key role across various stages of the SAP S/4HANA enhancement and support lifecycle. This person will provide global support services to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 business operations while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and address business requirements. The ideal candidate should also be capable of delivering hands-on application support when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Focus mainly on small yet business-critical enhancement requests and feature upgrades within the SAP application landscape.
Minimum 5 years of experience creating functional and technical documentation for SAP enhancements.
Experience with SAP Fiori and/or collecting requirements for user interface and front-end solutions.
Strong background working with interfaces such as ABAP Proxies and IDOCs, including error management and reprocessing methods.
Define and recommend technical solutions based on functional business needs.
Actively participate in design workshops and clearly communicate proposed solutions.
Previous involvement in international SAP implementation, rollout, and support projects is required.
Solid understanding of SAP core modules and their integration touchpoints.
Work closely with functional analysts during solution design and testing activities.
Ensure application support meets defined SLA commitments.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 5 years of SAP experience, preferably within MM, QM, or PP modules.
Proven experience with global implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
Background in Life Sciences and Healthcare industries is highly valued.
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes including MRP, Procurement, and Workflow.
Experience managing master data such as Materials and Vendors.
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and international teams.
Hands-on experience with BADIs, BAPIs, IDOCs, Workflow, and LSMW is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
Awareness of current technologies and industry developments.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
