Could this role be the opportunity for you to play your part?\nLet us introduce the role:\nTo deliver Manufacturing Engineering in support of AWE Programmes; will apply Engineering methods, tools and processes to engineering tasks. Deliver engineering solutions that will maximise productivity, reliability, innovation and quality to the business.\nKey Accountabilities:\nDeliver engineering solutions that meet safety and performance requirements \nComply with the design intent across the full engineering lifecycle \nPlan and execute tasks in order to deliver agreed objectives to time, requirements, quality and cost \nMaintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality \nAdditional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees contained within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities listing, as held in the company management system. \nEssential Criteria:\nCompliance with Licence Conditions/ Authorisation Conditions, legislation and regulations \nONC/HNC/HND/NVQ3/NVQ4 level in a STEM vocational qualification supported by considerable practical experience. \nProven track record of technical delivery and continuous improvement \nTechnical awareness of product/domain \nFollowing Company processes and ensuring Management System is kept up to date. \nWorking Level: Product/domain knowledge \nEngineering aptitude \nProblem solving \nAnalytical capability \nSystems Thinking \nDecision making \nTeamwork \nGood communications \nCompetent in IT, including systems covering standard office software and engineering tools and applications \n\nLead by example with regard to positive behaviours and safety culture. \nWilling to undertake UK and overseas travel \n\n Some reasons we think you’ll love it here:\nAWE has wide range of benefits to suit you.
