This role involves conducting end-to-end employment background checks to validate candidate information, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely completion of verification tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct employment verifications through various channels (calls, emails, third-party platforms, etc.).\n\nLiaise with HR departments, reporting managers, or organizations to validate tenure, designation, compensation, and reason for exit.\n\nReview and validate submitted documents such as offer letters, relieving letters, and payslips.\n\nUpdate verification outcomes on internal systems/tools accurately and promptly.\n\nEscalate discrepancies, red flags, or unresponsive verifications to senior team members or clients, as per SOPs.\n\nMaintain a strong focus on TAT (Turnaround Time) and quality benchmarks.\n\nCollaborate with peer teams (education, address, ID verification) for end-to-end case closures.\n\nSupport audit requirements and contribute to process improvement initiatives.\n\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in any discipline.\n\n0–3 years of experience in background verification or operations (freshers with strong communication skills can apply).\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask.\n\nProficiency in MS Office/Google Suite and familiarity with CRM or ticketing tools are a plus.\n\nPreferred Qualities:\nPrior experience in background verification or recruitment operations.\n\nAbility to work independently and in a team in a remote setup.\n\nFamiliarity with employment structures across sectors (IT, BPO, manufacturing, etc.) is an advantage.\n\nProficiency in using Google Docs, Sheets, and MS Office is a must.\n\nShift Structure:\n6-Day Workweek: This is a fast-paced work environment where you’ll work six days a week.\n\nWeekends: As per the shift, you may be required to work on either Saturday or Sunday.\n\nWillingness to work in rotational shifts (if required).\n\nWhat We Offer:\nA fast-paced, performance-driven work culture.\n\nExposure to large-scale, pan-India background verification operations.\n\nFlexible remote work opportunity.\n\nOpportunities for growth and learning.\n\nBenefits\nWork from anywhere effortlessly with our remote setup perk: Rs. 30,000 for furniture and headphones, plus an annual addition of Rs. 5,000. \n\nWe care about your well-being!
