What\nResponsibilities:\nLead engineering across AI, Physical AI, robotics, and enterprise software products.\nOwn the complete engineering lifecycle from ideation and architecture to deployment and scaling.\nStay hands-on with system design, architecture reviews, coding, and technical problem-solving.\nBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performance engineering team.\nMaximise engineering productivity and execution velocity.\nDrive engineering excellence, code quality, scalability, and operational reliability.\nCollaborate closely with Founders, Product Managers, Business Teams, Tech Support, and Enterprise Clients.\nTranslate business ideas into scalable technology solutions.\nBuild an AI-first engineering culture across the organisation.\nPhysical AI and Robotics (High Priority). This role strongly favours candidates with experience building AI systems that interact with the physical world.\nExperience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: Robotics software and autonomous systems.\nComputer Vision and multimodal perception.\nRobot perception and sensor fusion.\nROS / ROS2 ecosystem:\nReinforcement Learning\nEdge AI and Embedded AI\nSimulation environments (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, etc. )\nHuman-Robot Interaction\nIndustrial automation and robotic workflows\nPhysical AI Data Generation (Core Responsibility)A significant part of this role involves building the infrastructure required to train next-generation Physical AI models.\nYou will lead initiatives around: Designing scalable data generation pipelines for Physical AI and robotics.\nBuilding systems for real-world and synthetic data collection.\nCreating high-quality data annotation and labelling workflows.\nDeveloping simulation-based data generation and domain randomisation pipelines.\nManaging multimodal datasets including video, images, depth, LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and sensor telemetry.\nImproving dataset quality, coverage, and diversity for model training.\nWorking closely with AI/ML engineers to improve model performance through better data.\nThe core requirements for the job include the following:\nAI and Machine Learning:\nStrong understanding of modern AI technologies, including: Large Language Models (LLMs)\nVision-Language Models (VLMs)\nAI Agents\nMachine Learning\nDeep Learning\nComputer Vision\nModel training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment\nMLOps and AI infrastructure\nTechnical Requirements:\nStrong backend engineering expertise using Python.\nExperience building scalable distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\nStrong frontend experience with React.\nExperience building applications using Flutter.\nUnderstanding of native Android and/or iOS development.\nExperience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and production operations.\nLeadership and Stakeholder Management:\nYou will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, including: Founders\nBusiness Teams\nProduct Managers\nEngineering Teams\nTech Support\nEnterprise Clients\nYou should be equally comfortable discussing product strategy with founders, solving architectural challenges with engineers, and translating technical decisions into business outcomes for customers.\nGood to Have:\n6- 10 years of engineering experience with increasing technical leadership responsibilities.\nA hands-on engineering leader who enjoys building as much as leading.\nStrong system design and architecture skills.\nExperience building and scaling engineering teams.\nBias for action with a startup mindset.\nAbility to thrive in ambiguity and execute at high speed.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder
