Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple mobile engineering teams across Android, iOS, and React Native platforms.
  • Drive architecture, design, and technical strategy for mobile applications.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of mobile products aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Own technical decision-making, code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
  • Mentor engineering managers, tech leads, and senior engineers.
  • Establish best practices for mobile CI/CD, testing, release management, and monitoring.
  • Manage resource planning, sprint execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development of team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies and drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • 8-14 years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Android (Kotlin/Java), iOS (Swift/Objective-C), React Native / cross-platform frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
  • Experience in managing large-scale, consumer-facing mobile apps.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, mobile performance optimisation, and security best practices.
