We work to foster a fast paced, fun, highly collaborative environment where results are both expected and rewarded.\nFully remote opportunity in TX.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nDevelop and utilize internal tools, SQL, Excel & QlikSense dashboards that will drive core business decisions.\nLeverage AI-assisted analytics tools and natural language querying to accelerate data exploration and reporting.\nValidate the correctness and accuracy of internal and external report data, including insights and queries generated by AI, before they reach stakeholders.\nProvide situation-specific analyses to support business critical decisions.\nUse AI to help build and maintain data ingestion pipelines, and continually optimize our internal data systems and analysis infrastructure.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree, ideally in engineering, finance, accounting, statistics, economics, math, or related field.\n3+ years' experience as a business intelligence analyst, software engineer, or database application developer.\nStrong analytical skill set for translating business requirements into reports, grounded in a solid knowledge of economics and statistics.\nAbility to think strategically and to relate data to strategic decisions.\n5+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel; expert-level formula and pivot table development.\nIntermediate to Expert level SQL skills.\nComfort writing clear, structured prompts to extract and validate analysis from AI tools.\nIntellectual curiosity and a drive to optimize - a genuine passion for using data and technology to explore and solve problems, and to understand what makes things tick.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStatistics background / Predictive analytics.\nExperience building or maintaining machine learning pipelines, especially in Databricks.\nFamiliarity with prompt evaluation and spotting where AI-generated queries go wrong.\nExperience with scripting languages / light programming.\nAI is welcome here - but we still want to meet YOU.\nOur team personally reviews applications and resumes, and our hiring process includes video interviews with real people.
