This role serves as a key partner, providing hands-on HR support while helping execute people strategies that drive workforce effectiveness, engagement, and business performance.\nThe HR Manager will manage day-to-day HR operations across the assigned footprint while contributing to broader talent and organizational initiatives. This role requires a strong balance of tactical execution and strategic partnership, with a focus on employee relations, leadership support, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nHR Business Partnership\nPartner with leaders to execute human capital strategies aligned with business objectives.\nProvide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and team effectiveness.\nBuild strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization.\nEmployee Relations & Compliance\nServe as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving issues in a fair and consistent manner.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.\nPromote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and respect.\nTalent & Workforce\nSupport recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers on workforce needs, hiring plans, and onboarding processes.\nAssist in workforce planning activities by identifying trends, staffing gaps, and retention risks.\nPartner with talent acquisition and HR leadership to ensure effective execution of hiring strategies.\nPerformance Management & Leadership Support\nGuide managers through performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and corrective actions.\nCoach front-line leaders on people management skills, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.\nSupport implementation of leadership development initiatives and training programs.\nHR Operations & Process Management\nManage and administer HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations.\nEnsure accuracy and execution of HR systems, reporting, and documentation.\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and consistency across the business unit.\nData, Metrics & Reporting\nUtilize HR data and reporting to identify trends related to turnover, engagement, and workforce performance.\nProvide insights and recommendations to leaders to support decision-making and improve outcomes.\nMaintain strong attention to detail and data accuracy.\n· Perform other duties as assigned.\n This is an in-office role\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR Manager capacity, preferably supporting field or operations-based teams.\nPHR or SHRM certification preferred.\nDemonstrated experience in:Employee relations and investigations\nPerformance management and coaching\nEmployment law and compliance\nHR process management in a high-volume environment\n\nKey Skills & Competencies\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nHigh level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.\nAdditional Details\nThis is an in-office role supporting the Great Plains Business Unit.\nMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.\n Benefits-eligible 1st of the month following hire.\nAll traditional benefits are offered, including 3 medical plan options and 2 dental plan options, as well as additional benefits such as Legal and Identity Shield, Accident, and Critical Illness\nCompany paid 50k in basic life insurance.\nCompany paid LTD.\nHealth Savings and Flex Spending Accounts Available\n401(k)\nPaid Time Off & Paid Holidays\nAWP named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity\nSalary: 108K - 127K depending on experience\nAWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
