Controls movement of vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic through work zones using hand signals with a STOP/SLOW Paddle. Reviews, comprehends, and executes temporary traffic control plans and/or standards to ensure work zones are properly installed and maintained. Coordinates and communicates with customers to ensure the safety of all workers.\nJob Description:\nSet up, maintain, and remove Advance Warning Signs, Channelizing Devices, and other traffic control devices according to Federal, State, and/or Local Temporary Traffic Control Guidelines and Temporary Traffic Control Plans for simple and intermediate complexity work zones.\nSetting up cones, signs, and barricades and taking traffic control equipment down \nUsing a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic, watching traffic and job site activity \nFollowing all safety rules taught in training \nCommunicating with your crew and supervisor \nHelping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe \nWorking outside all year, in all weather \nShifts may change based on job needs: Some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required \nYou may stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shift \nWe give you a hard hat, safety goggles, a safety vest, safety whistle, walkie talkie, and cold/hot weather gear: you bring your own steel toe safety boots that go above the ankle. \nDrive a company vehicle to transport equipment, trailers, and team members to and from work sites safely and in a timely manner.
