Driving added value to our customers through the talented execution of our employees and the pursuit to provide extraordinary service for our customers is what has built our company and its national reputation for integrity.\n THIS ROLE REQUIRES FDOT Advanced MOT Certification or ATSSA certification\nWe are looking for an experienced and safety-focused MOT Supervisor to lead, coordinate, and oversee traffic control operations. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring proper execution of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans, and maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership ability, excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to safety and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise MOT crews and ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety best practices.\nEnsure crews load the necessary tools, materials, and equipment for assigned tasks.\nMeet or communicate with the project point-of-contact before operations to verify task details.\nCoordinate trucking with drivers and supervise employees to complete assigned project tasks.\nOversee traffic control setup and removal, including lane closures, signs, cones, barricades, and flagging operations.\nMaintain a clean and organized worksite and adjust traffic control strategies based on site conditions.\nTransport equipment, signs, and trailers using company vehicles.\nEnsure DHA forms, Daily Logs, Truck Inspections, Tickets, and all required paperwork are properly completed and submitted daily.\nReport equipment loss, damage, and low material inventory to management.\nParticipate in manager meetings on company policies and procedures.\nInstall and remove ground-mounted traffic signs and assist with permanent sign installation when needed.\nUnderstand underground utility locate markings and ensure safe operation of hand tools.\nCollaborate with customers and coworkers to maintain a secure and efficient work zone.\nFollow all safety procedures, report hazards, and perform other duties as assigned.\n Previous supervisory or lead experience in traffic control, MOT operations.\n THIS ROLE REQUIRES FDOT Advanced MOT Certification or ATSSA certification\nValid Driver's License with a safe driving record.\nStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage crews, coordinate multiple tasks, and adapt to changing work conditions.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching.\nFlexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and extended shifts (10+ hours).\nWork Environment\nRegular exposure to outdoor elements, including varying temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions.\nHome office in Pembroke Pines but this role covers South Florida area- travel required.\n What We Offer:\n$20-22 per hour based on experience\nCompany vehicle and gas card \nBenefits begin the first of the month following hire and include:\nMedical, vision, and dental plan options\nCompany-paid life insurance and long-term disability\n401(k) with company match\nPaid Time Off and paid holidays\nPre-Employment Requirements\nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening, consistent with applicable law.\nAWP Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
