This role is crucial to maintain the integrity of financial operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting functions, supporting financial reporting and analysis to drive\nResponsibilities\nManage and monitor suppliers' and contractors' accounts related to projects.\nReview contracts, payment certificates, and invoices to ensure they comply with agreements, purchase orders, and payment terms.\nReconcile supplier and contractor balances and perform the necessary accounting adjustments.\nMonitor project costs, operating expenses, and petty cash transactions.\nReview due payments, amounts paid, and outstanding balances for each project.\nRecord project-related journal entries and ensure the accuracy of financial documents.\nFollow up on invoices and payments and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and relevant departments.\nPrepare periodic financial reports covering project costs, expenses, and financial obligations.\nMonitor Value Added Tax (VAT) and electronic invoicing requirements in accordance with the regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.\nPerform periodic accounting reconciliations and month-end and year-end closing activities.\nMaintain and organize financial records and supporting documents related to projects.\nCoordinate with Finance and Operations departments to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting procedures.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Accounting.\nPractical experience in accounting, preferably in project accounting or within contracting and operations companies.\nGood knowledge of supplier and contractor accounts.\nExperience reviewing contracts, payment certificates, and invoices and matching them against payments.\nAbility to reconcile account balances and perform accounting adjustments.\nKnowledge of project cost monitoring, operating expenses, and petty cash management.\nKnowledge of VAT and electronic invoicing requirements in Saudi Arabia.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems;
