Responsibilities:\nStrategic Leadership:\nDefine and oversee the company's technical vision, strategy, software development, and product roadmap.\nAlign technology initiatives with the company's vision, business objectives and growth strategies.\nEvaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.\nImplement an AI-first software vision on products, platforms and solutions.\nSecure internal and external funding for development of new technologies and innovations.\nManage P&L for the entire Software Division.\nDevelop products and platforms that is ready for accelerate and sustain growth.\nLead revenue generation activities including ensuring that bids and proposals are in top quality\nTeam Management:\nBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals.\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within software engineering and product teams.\n Improve performance metrics and ensure accountability for meeting deadlines, project goals, product quality and capabilities.\nEffectively manage multiple teams and projects both internal products and customer projects.\nManage various tools and solutions to ensure high productivity, efficiency and effective task management.\nSoftware Development:\nOversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions.\nImplement an AI-first software approach\nEnsure adherence to best practices in software architecture, coding, and testing.\nEnsure continuous improvement of products and platforms\nCollaborate with various stakeholders and technical teams to define and prioritize features based on technological evolution, discovered innovations, market needs and customer feedback.\nInfrastructure and Security:\nEnsure robust system architecture and IT infrastructure that supports business operations.\nOversee cybersecurity measures to protect company and customer data, complying to GDPR requirements.\nEnsure interworking between on prem, private cloud and public cloud infrastructure to support platforms and products\nOptimize private and public cloud infrastructure, usage and cost, DevOps pipelines, and technical workflows for efficiency.\nBudgeting and Resource Allocation:\nManage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI from tech investments.\nManage P&L for the Software Engineering Division.\nSecure revenues and funding to continuously develop leading edge products.\nEvaluate and negotiate with third-party vendors and partners for software and infrastructure services.\nOperate the Division budget efficiently while balancing cost and quality of deliverables.\nEnsure that costing on bids and proposals are aligned to development cost and market prices.\nStakeholder Collaboration:\nWork closely with the CEO/COO, C-suite executives, and stakeholders to communicate technical strategies and progress.\nServe as a technical advisor for business development and client engagements.\nRepresent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry discussions.\nWork with various Division and Departments to create product and platforms required for accelerated growth\nCollaborate with various teams to produce wining bids and proposals having the right balance between quality, cost and delivery timelines.\nQualifications:\nRequired Skills and Experience:\nProven experience (10+ years) in software engineering, technical leadership, or similar roles, with at least 3 years in a senior management capacity.\nStrong background in software development, architecture, and systems design.\nExtensive experience in implementing AI-first software\nProven experience in in AI development and AIOps implementation\nExperience with various cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, Etc) , DevOps tools,\nDemonstrated ability to scale technical teams and deliver complex software projects on time and on budget.\nExperience in creating solutions that has cloud, web, mobile app components.\nIn-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.\nIn-depth knowledge of various AI methodologies and learning algorithms.\nProven experience in various programming languages like Python, Java, React, C#, domain specific languages, native and cross platform development, etc.\nSoft Skills:\nExcellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to align technical goals with business objectives.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing competing priorities.\nExcellent communication and analytics skills\nProven entrepreneurial and innovation skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in Telecoms and technology domains preferred\nExperience in developing private-cloud based software products and platforms\nExperience in leading edge technologies such like AI/ML, blockchain, multi-band IoT.\nTrack record of successful fundraising or technical due diligence for grant funding and other investors.\nRelevant MS or PhD degrees\nProven experience in Agile, Prince 2 Agile and Scrum methodologies.\nExperience in Generative AI and various LLM
