With 9,000+ colleagues based in approximately 30 countries; we can serve clients in more than 200 countries.\nThe Cyber Accumulation Modeling Actuary will be a part of the AXA XL team, fully dedicated to supporting AXA Group Risk Management. This role requires active collaboration with GRM teams to facilitate the effective management of Cyber risks across the AXA Group.\nIn this capacity, you will play a key role in assisting the Group P&C Risk Management teams in the development and execution of key initiatives. Your contributions will be essential in enhancing the management of Cyber exposures and ensuring alignment with other CAT Man Made exposures (Liability).\nWhat you’ll be DOING\nWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\nParticipate in the development of the platform collecting entities underwriting data, working closely with IT teams (development roadmap, test developments, documentation update etc.).\nAssist in building efficient analysis tools for CAT Man Made risks: exposure reports, modelled result reports etc.\nAcquire a comprehensive understanding of AXA's Cyber Business across all entities, including covers granted, typologies of portfolios, etc.\nAnalyze the evolution of entities Cyber exposure from one year to another.\nAssist in the continuous improvement of the Cyber risk model, including manipulating and gaining detailed insights into the model (written in R) to produce the various outputs needed (model runs, sensitivities, documentation, reporting templates, controls…), while contributing to the development of methodologies for assessing Cyber risk exposure.\nCollaborate with all entities involved in Cyber risk to gather underwriting data and effectively communicate model developments and results.\nYou will have a dual reporting line to the Head of Cyber Risk Management at AXA Group and Country Management at the AXA XL level.\nWhat you will BRING\nWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:\nRequired Skills and Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Actuary, Data Science, Applied Mathematics).\nRelevant years of working experience, preferably in risk management or related fields.\nExpertise in actuarial science, statistics, and risk theory.\nRobust analytical skills with a proven ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely.\nProficiency in R/Python programming language for model manipulation and development.\nBusiness English - fluent (spoken and written).\nDesired Skills and Abilities:\nProficiency in using Databricks would be a plus.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment with robust interpersonal skills.\nFlexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and new challenges.\nDemonstrated rigor, motivation, autonomy, and proactivity.\nCuriosity and open-mindedness to explore new ideas and approaches.\nWho WE are\nAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
