This new platform will centralize most GRM data applications: over 2026-2027 a large number of legacy applications (stand-alone vendor & in-house apps) must be transformed into R/Python codes and Databricks jobs & pipelines, then from 2027 onwards will need to be maintained and further developed to ensure GRM to fulfill its crucial risk management mission.\nThe role is a key element of a specialized tech/data/AI pool managed by AXA XL ESS (India) dedicated to GRM (Paris, Winterthur, Madrid) activities.\nWhat you’ll be DOING\nWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\nDevelopment and maintenance - main tools: Databricks, R/Python/SQL development suite, GenAI tools:\nDevelop data processing solutions and application components on the Databricks platform.\nDesign, code and maintain data pipelines in Python/R and SQL.\nContribute to the migration and evolution of existing data processing solutions towards GDP standards.\nFix defects and implement performance optimizations.\nHelp maintain code quality and development best practices.\nTesting and quality - main tools: Databricks, GitHub:\nDesign and execute unit, integration, and regression tests.\nAnalyze test results and correct identified defects.\nParticipate in code reviews and quality controls.\nEnsure development traceability and compliance with platform standards.\nIndustrialization and support:\nContribute to solution deployment and industrialization.\nProduce the technical documentation required to operate the developed components.\nProvide technical support for the developed solutions to the GRM end-users.\nCollaborate with GDP architects, Product Owners, and Data Engineering teams.\nYou will report to Vice President, Group Services.\nWhat you will BRING\nWe’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:\nRequired Skills and Abilities:\nExcellent command of Python.\nExcellent command of R.\nSignificant hands-on experience with Databricks, alternatively on other Data Platforms.\nGood understanding of modern data platform architectures.\nRobust knowledge of software development concepts, including version control, testing, and continuous integration.\nKnowledge of Git and DevOps practices.\nRobust SQL skills.\nDesired Skills and Abilities:\nSpark / PySpark.\nDeltaLake.\nAzure Data Platform.\nAzure DevOps or equivalent.\nData Quality et DataOps.\nKnowledge of data governance principles.\nWho WE are\nAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
