This role involves managing broker relationships, delivering sales targets, and implementing initiatives to optimise profitability. You will be the key interface for broker engagement, responsible for developing, reviewing, and expanding the broker panel to support our business objectives.\nKey responsibilities:\nManage a panel of broker accounts with GWP between £100k - £400k, ensuring strong relationships and high performance.\nAct as the primary interface for broker relationships within the National Trading Centre, fostering trust and collaboration.\nDeliver the NTC proposition to broker panel accounts, aligning activities with business growth targets.\nConduct regular reviews of broker strategic development plans and deliver updates with NTC senior management and regional teams.\nPlan, forecast, and manage the broker panel to meet sales, profitability, and growth targets.\nLead the delivery of sales campaigns across brokers, ensuring KPIs and campaign targets are achieved.\nConduct profit reviews to identify improvement opportunities and lead discussions with brokers to optimise profitability.\nMonitor progress of initiatives and take remedial action to ensure targets are met and sustained.\nWork arrangements:\nAt AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.\nYour skills & experience:\nManage 25-35 key external broker relationships, each with GWP over £100k.\nACII qualification or equivalent (preferable), with a strong understanding of underwriting and risk management principles.\nDegree level education or equivalent (preferable).\nStrong product knowledge across Property Owners, Commercial SME, and Mid-Corporate business.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills-especially at senior levels.\nProven sales, negotiation, and business development experience within insurance or financial services.\nStrong understanding of business profitability, pipeline management, and account planning.\nHighly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working effectively across functions and within a team environment.\nThis position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.\nHow to apply:\n\nTo apply, click on the ‘apply now’ button, you’ll then need to log in or create a profile to submit your CV.
