At AXA Partners, you’ll join our Data Team and work with international colleagues to help shape our data-driven future.\nAs a Data Engineer, you’ll develop modern data solutions, ensure reliable data flows and continuously improve our Data Platform - from development through to stable production operations.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nContribute to and help deliver our Data Roadmap, working closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Business Teams and other Data Teams\nDesign, develop and automate scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing\nFurther develop our cloud-based data platform using Microsoft Azure and Databricks\nBuild and optimize modern data ingestion processes, ETL pipelines, datamarts and Data Lake solutions\nEnsure data quality, availability and performance through monitoring, automation and proven Data Engineering practices\nSupport the migration to new data platform\nEnsure the reliable operation of existing data solutions and analyze and resolve technical challenges\nCollaborate closely with local and international Data Teams and actively share knowledge within our Data Community\nSupport and mentor Junior Data Engineers while contributing to the development of Data Engineering standards and best practices\nWhat you’ll bring:\nExperience in Data Engineering, including the development and operation of modern data pipelines\nHands-on experience with ETL processes as well as batch and real-time data processing\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks\nKnowledge of Data Lakes, datamarts and modern data architectures\nA good understanding of data quality, monitoring and the reliable operation of production data solutions\nAn interest in collaborating with Data Scientists, Analysts, Business Teams and international colleagues\nAn independent, solution-oriented way of working and a willingness to take ownership\nFluent in English; German language skills are a plus \nA passion for sharing knowledge and supporting the professional development of colleagues\nWhat we offer:\nAt AXA Partners, we’re appreciative of the people who work for us and our rewards package is reviewed regularly to reflect that.
