We are seeking a commercially focused and highly analytical Senior Provider Relations Analyst to join our Provider Relations team.\nThis is a key role within the business, responsible for providing strategic analysis, reporting, forecasting and insight to support provider contract negotiations, cost containment initiatives, and business decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across Claims, Provider Relations and the wider organisation, helping to drive performance and ensure Laya continues to achieve best value from its healthcare provider partnerships.\nThe role offers a unique opportunity to combine advanced analytics, commercial awareness and stakeholder engagement while influencing decisions that directly impact claims performance, healthcare costs and member outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDeliver claims data modelling, reporting and analysis to support the Provider Relations team.\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting solutions to provide valuable business insights.\nMonitor and track claims trends, forecasting performance against budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.\nSupport contract negotiations through comprehensive analysis of hospital activity, healthcare costs and provider performance.\nProduce in-depth analytical reviews and recommendations to inform provider strategy and decision making.\nSupport the maintenance, renewal and administration of provider contracts and provider rate structures.\nDrive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives across the Provider Relations function.\nPerform quality control checks and governance reviews on key provider and contract data.\nPresent complex analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and executive stakeholders.\nCollaborate with internal teams to enhance data quality, reporting capabilities and strategic decision-making.\nSupport and deputise for the Provider Relations Manager during provider meetings, discussions and negotiations when required.\nSkills & Experience\nStrong analytical experience in a data, reporting, business intelligence or financial analysis role.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyse large data sets.\nExperience using reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, SAS or similar platforms.\nProven ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior audiences.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience working within healthcare, insurance, provider management or a related industry is advantageous.\nCommercial awareness and the confidence to challenge, influence and provide recommendations.\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification required.\nQualification in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Accounting or a related discipline is desirable.\nExperience with healthcare claims analysis, provider contracting or healthcare operations is advantageous.\nCommitment to ongoing learning and development within the analytics and data management space.\nWhat We're Looking For\nA highly motivated and commercially minded analyst who enjoys solving complex business challenges.\nA confident communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.\nAn individual who is comfortable working with large data sets and turning information into actionable recommendations.\nSomeone who is proactive, innovative and continuously seeks opportunities for improvement.\nA collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and accountability.\nA professional capable of representing the business and supporting strategic provider discussions when required.\nWhy Join Laya Healthcare\nJoin a high-performing team that plays a critical role in managing healthcare costs and provider relationships.\nWork closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business.\nContribute to strategic projects that have a direct impact on business performance and member value.\nAccess opportunities to further develop your analytics, business intelligence and commercial skills.\nBe part of a collaborative organisation focused on innovation, continuous improvement and delivering excellent member outcomes.\nEnjoy a hybrid working environment with flexibility and support.\nDiversity, Equity & Inclusion\nAt Laya Healthcare, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and empowered to succeed.
