Remedy deficiencies in the current-state technologies to derive the future-state.\nLeading and supporting solutioning activities that guide the development and management of technical and infrastructure solutions.\nDefine and present the solution options for new projects. Prepare recommendations with ballpark estimates to business users ensuring the options are aligned with business needs and strategy.\nIdentify and assess various solution options from both technical architecture and business architecture perspectives to ensure recommendations are aligned with the business needs and strategy.\nIdentify technology and delivery risks associated with proposed solutions to ensure that necessary measures are taken to mitigate these risks.\nWork closely with project team and key stakeholders to develop the overall solution architecture and ensure all requirements from key stakeholders are captured.\nOrganizing / aligning various technical disciplines and obtain necessary sign-off.\nTechnology Incubation\nResearch market trends and identify upcoming solutions, conduct POC testing and report POC results to ensure solutions remain competitive against the market trends.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related fields.\nMinimum 8 years relevant experience with 3+ years in solution architecture role, in which 1 year in a leadership role.\nOver 3+ years’ experience in finance / insurance industry is preferred.\nStrong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF).\nHas sound knowledge in multiple domain and line of business (Life/Health/General Insurance/Insurance Operations).\nWide exposure in different technologies (AI, web, mobile app, data, cloud, AS/400, RPG, ARCAD, etc.).\nExperienced in core system modernization, particularly for Life insurance business.\nExperienced in deigning solution which leverage Azure Cloud platforms and Containerization Platform (OpenShift preferred).\nExperience in cloud first solution architecture and move to cloud.\nProven experience in steering enterprise-wide IT systems and applications implementation.\nExperience in vendor management.\nUnderstanding of finance and resource estimation.\nRelevant certifications in cloud technology, enterprise architecture, cyber security or related areas would be an advantage.\nStrong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with being organized, structured, and assertive.\nFluent in English.
