Our innovative products and services include paint, color matching tools, application technologies and customer training and business management systems.\nAn engineer must be flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. He or she should be competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and have excellent written and oral communication skills.\nThis career requires analytical and mathematical skills, and a firm understanding of the main principles of engineering and construction.\nA Site Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:\nWork with site engineering & maintenance resources to develop scope and objectives.\nFollow process and identify phases and design requirements.\nDevelop estimates including equipment, construction and commissioning cost.\nPerform financial analysis.\nProvide leadership through the approval process. \nCoordinate Mechanical, Process & Electrical design with in-house and contracted resources.\nAssist with providing daily construction management support.\nMaintains project design and commissioning documentation.\nContinuous Improvement\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nMechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree preferred or 5 years of relevant project engineering experience.\nIndustrial plant experience in chemical processing preferred.\nGood communication and presentation skills (both oral and written).\nGood interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and maintenance team.\nAbility to utilize other software tools as appropriate SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint) \nAxalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
