The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for adhering to plant safety standards, managing hazardous materials and waste, performing basic troubleshooting activities, and working collaboratively to meet production demands.\nThis position requires the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nResponsibilities:\nOperate and maintain bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.\nFollow batch cards, written instructions, and standard operating procedures to accurately manufacture products.\nMeasure, weigh, and handle raw materials used in the production process.\nFollow all plant safety standards, policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.\nSafely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste according to site policies and training.\nPerform basic troubleshooting and maintenance activities on production equipment; advanced maintenance tasks as qualified.\nUse computer systems and production equipment software to support manufacturing operations.\nMaintain production quality standards and documentation requirements.\nWork collaboratively within a self-managed team environment.\nAdapt to changing production priorities and business needs.\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nKnowledge of function-specific information systems.\nKnowledge of the physical requirements for the area.\nSkills to safely operate various pieces of mechanical equipment within site guidelines.\nSkills to perform basic math calculations.\nSkills to operate powered material handling equipment (PMHE) and obtain required licensing.\nAbility to work in a self-managing team environment.\nAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and carry for short distances.\nAbility to work in different temperature climates.\nAbility to work 12-hour rotating shifts.\nAbility to adapt to changing production demands.\nThis is an active opening for which we are recruiting to fill immediately.\nWe consider an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience to determine final salary.
