We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.\nWe are currently looking for a Refinish Color Shader to join us at our facility in Philadelphia, PA.\nKey responsibilities:\nFollow all site Safety Policies and Administrative Guidelines.\nWork in an automotive paint color laboratory.\nDevelop paint color formulas primarily matching car color standards and automotive parts.\nUse advanced computerized color matching system, as well as visual color skills.\nProficient in AxCS following Best Practices.\nWeigh and mix paint, spray color panels, and then adjust formulas by spectrophotometer and software. Repeat the process.\nEnter color information into computer color database.\nMaintain color lab facility.\nMinimum Requirements:\nColor formulation related experience is a plus.\nTeam player, open minded, with strong communication ability.\nWilling to learn and have good adaptability.\nSharing of key learnings and knowledge within team.\nPreferred Skills:\nHigh school or similar professional level background.\n1-3 years related working experience, familiar with coating, coating lab experience is a plus.\nStrong equipment operation ability and simple maintenance ability.\nTeam player, open minded, with strong communication ability.\nWilling to learn and have good adaptability.\nSharing of key learnings and knowledge within team.\nAdaptable, self-motivated, and willing to learn new technologies and processes\nAxalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, which serve four end markets, including Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.
