Throughout the program, co-ops build technical skills, strengthen problem-solving abilities, and gain real-world experience that enhances both their academic learning and future career opportunities.\nAbout the Role\nAxcelis is seeking a Warehouse Operations co-op to support our Operations Technology team in continuous improvement implementation, operational analysis and optimization within Axcelis’ state-of-the-art warehousing and logistics center. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of manufacturing logistics, technology, and data-driven decision-making.\nThe ideal candidate is an engineering student with industrial engineering and some software experience who is eager to apply their skills in a manufacturing logistics and operations-focused environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssist in implementing and sustaining operations processes to improve logistics, applied labor, and manufacturing quality.\n\nDocument and Train operators on custom applications introduced to streamline operations.\n\nAnalyze operational data and contribute to process optimization initiatives.\n\nWork closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to solve real-world manufacturing challenges.\n\nDocument findings and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial Engineering or a related field.\n\nInterest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and technology integration.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with databases (SQL).\n\nFamiliarity with data analysis tools: Python, PowerBI, Advanced Excel\n\nUnderstanding of data visualization and analysis techniques.\n\nThis co-op provides real-world experience in a manufacturing environment where technology meets operations.
