The positions require many of the same skills and knowledge that our customers’ process engineers require in their jobs. The position is an entry-level applications support function with process engineering and equipment characterization components.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nAssist in performing technical support for all segments of the organization\nProvide reactive technical support for customers including machine and process troubleshooting\nPerform individually or with peers on scientific or engineering projects\nAssist in performing scientific or mathematical analysis and calculations\nAssist with the design/conduct/directs complex laboratory experiments/field tests to ascertain hitherto unknown information\nInterpret and communicate results\nContribute ideas which improve our product or processes\nUnderstand and interpret business and technology trends\nPerform other related duties or similar nature and complexity as directed\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPublish technical papers, application notes, manuals and presents seminars to train others\nReviews and studies professional literature and other wise maintains and improves current technical skills\nPresent technical results and product information at conferences and support of marketing and sales objectives\nSkills, Knowledge & Ability:\nAbility to: Interface, negotiate, and coach customers on technical problems in both proactive and reactive mode. Apply scientific method to difficult problems. Logically analyze data and technical information. Design experiments and statistical process control techniques. Research information. Implant and wafer metrology. Basic business, accounting & financial practices. Basic management techniques. Supervising others.\nSkilled at: Using PC. Guiding others through technical issues. Personal communications. Delivering formal training & presentations. Interpreting engineering standards and forms. Applying knowledge to the solution of difficult problems. Written communication.
