are looking for a strong Manual Test Engineer who can take ownership of end-to-end product quality, develop comprehensive test scenarios, execute functional and regression testing, identify defects, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.\n\nResponsibilities: \nUnderstand business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.\nCreate detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution plans\nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing\nValidate end-to-end workflows across web/API-based applications.\nIdentify, document, prioritise, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.\nWork closely with developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and other QA engineers to resolve defects.\nParticipate in requirement discussions and identify potential quality risks early in the development lifecycle.\nPerform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar tools.\nValidate backend responses, data integrity, and application behaviour.\nExecute regression suites for new releases and enhancements.\nSupport release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards.\nInvestigate production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.\nMaintain test documentation, test reports, defect reports, and QA metrics.\nCollaborate with the engineering team in an Agile/Scrum environment.\nEnsure comprehensive coverage of critical business and customer journeys.\nContribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall product quality.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong hands-on experience in Manual Testing / Software Testing.\nGood understanding of SDLC and STLC.\nStrong knowledge of test case design and defect life cycle.\nExperience with functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.\nGood experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON.\nExperience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nGood knowledge of SQL/database validation is preferred.\nExperience with defect management tools such as Jira or similar.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of testing activities.\n\nPreferred Candidate Background: \nCandidates from product companies, GCCs, startups, good service companies, or service companies working with strong product-based clients.\nCandidates with experience working on financial technology, trading, crypto, payments, banking, or other transaction-heavy products would be an advantage.\nStrong ownership of end-to-end testing and quality
