If you want to help define what comes next, let’s talk.\n As an NPI Engineer based in Taipei, Taiwan, you will be part of Axiado's Hardware Engineering team, responsible for taking hardware products from the design stage through to volume manufacturing. You will work closely with design engineers, the manufacturing team, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to ensure that test flows are properly introduced, products are released to manufacturing smoothly, and products are supported through and beyond the production ramp.\nResponsibilities\nOwn New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, taking products from the design stage through volume manufacturing.\nServe as the primary interface between design engineers, contract manufacturers, and operations teams.\nReview and understand engineering designs well enough to guide manufacturability and test decisions.\nEvaluate and recommend part replacements, and help manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).\nDrive and support development and execution of manufacturing test processes.\nMaintain accurate product data and documentation within PLM systems.\n Qualifications\nRequired Experience\n5-10+ years of hands-on hardware/NPI experience.\nBSEE required; candidates with exceptional hands-on depth in lieu of a degree will be considered.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing test processes and methodologies.\nDemonstrated ability to interface effectively between engineering, contract manufacturers, and operations.\nAbility to read and understand engineering designs, including schematics, BOMs, and mechanical drawings.\nExperience with PLM systems (Arena preferred; Agile PLM also acceptable).\nAbility and willingness to work onsite in Taipei, Taiwan - this role is not available remotely.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience managing BOM structures and part substitution/qualification.\nBackground spanning both hardware design and manufacturing test, rather than exclusively one or the other.\nExperience working with contract manufacturers in the Asia-Pacific region.\n Axiado is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the highest caliber talent in a diverse and multifaceted environment.
