You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, performance, availability, and reliability, while collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams to continuously improve business processes and database platforms.\nWhat You Will Do on a Daily Basis\nDesign, implement, and maintain database solutions to support business-critical systems.\n\nMonitor and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability across production environments.\n\nDevelop and enhance SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data processing and reporting needs.\n\nImplement and manage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with defined data protection requirements.\n\nProvide technical support during incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.\n\nCollaborate with development and operational teams to improve business process outcomes and database efficiency.\n\nManage and administer complex Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.\n\nEvaluate and deploy innovative solutions to automate processes, optimize costs, and improve platform performance.\n\nMonitor database health and performance through observability and visualization tools.\n\nYour Key Skills\nStrong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration.\n\nAdvanced SQL development, optimization, and performance tuning skills.\n\nExperience with ETL development, monitoring, and optimization processes.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities.\n\nKnowledge of database partitioning, indexing, and optimization techniques.\n\nExperience with Master Data Services.\n\nFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, ELK, or Zabbix.\n\nUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.\n\nYour Main Qualifications\nProven experience managing complex database environments in enterprise contexts.\n\nSolid knowledge of backup, recovery, and database maintenance strategies.\n\nExperience supporting business-critical applications and resolving high-impact incidents.\n\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nProactive attitude with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nProfessional proficiency in Portuguese and English.\n\nKnowledge of Spanish is considereda plus.\n\nWhat We Offer\nStable professional career\nWorking with Axians projects becomes an asset to those of us who want to offer stability through a secure career.\nProspects for career advancement\nYou can access training and new certifications that will further elevate your skills.
