In this role, you will be responsible for producing, validating, and analysing daily and monthly economic P&L figures, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting trading activities. You will work closely with Front Office and several support areas, contributing to business performance through rigorous analysis, process improvement, and effective stakeholder collaboration.\nWhat You Will Do on a Daily Basis\nProduce and validate official Economic P&L figures and related P&L explanations.\n\nAnalyse market movements, new transactions, and other drivers impacting P&L performance.\n\nInvestigate discrepancies between reported results and Front Office expectations, ensuring issues are fully understood and documented.\n\nReview risk-based market P&L and assess differences against P&L explanations.\n\nPerform hedge accounting controls and support Front Office and Finance stakeholders where applicable.\n\nSubmit validated P&L figures for Front Office sign-off.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve existing controls, processes, and reporting activities.\n\nCollaborate with Front Office, Risk, Finance, Back Office, and IT teams to ensure effective business support.\n\nYour Key Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n\nAttention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\n\nAbility to investigate, understand, and explain financial data variances.\n\nCollaborative mindset and ability to build effective working relationships.\n\nCreativity and continuous improvement orientation.\n\nClient-focused approach and strong sense of accountability.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced financial markets environment.\n\nYour Main Qualifications\nAcademic background in Finance, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nJunior-level professional experience or relevant academic exposure to financial markets is welcome.\n\nUnderstanding or interest in Financial Markets.\n\nKnowledge of Profit & Loss analysis and financial products is valued.\n\nStrong analytical skills and capacity to work with large volumes of data.\n\nGood communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.\n\nProficiency in English(written and spoken).\n\nWhat We Offer\nStable professional career\nWorking with Axians projects becomes an asset to those of us who want to offer stability through a secure career.\nProspects for career advancement\nYou can access training and new certifications that will further elevate your skills.
