In this role, you will contribute to the strengthening of the operational risk and control framework by performing second-level controls on trading and sales activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards. You will work closely with business, compliance, legal, tax, and operational teams to identify potential risks, investigate unusual activities, and support the continuous improvement of control processes.\nWhat You Will Do on a Daily Basis\nPerform second-level controls on sales and trading activities to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements;\n\nContribute to the maintenance and enhancement of a robust operational risk and control framework;\n\nAnalyze financial transactions to identify potential breaches, anomalies, or unauthorized activities;\n\nInvestigate control incidents and propose remediation actions and process improvements;\n\nSupport the management and maintenance of trading and portfolio reference data;\n\nMinimize operational and fraud risks through effective monitoring and control activities;\n\nCollaborate with Compliance, Legal, Tax, Risk, and Business teams on control-related matters;\n\nRespond to ad-hoc requests from management and business stakeholders;\n\nCoordinate the production of monthly reports, statistics, and key performance indicators;\n\nMonitor control metrics and ensure the reliability and relevance of reporting information;\n\nProduce analyses, summaries, and management reports adapted to different stakeholders;\n\nParticipate in governance meetings and contribute to control and risk-related discussions;\n\nSupport the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.\n\nYour Key Skills\nTrading Controls;\n\nOperational Risk Management;\n\nFinancial Markets.\n\nYour Main Qualifications\nDegree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field;\n\nExperience in Financial Markets, Middle Office, Risk, Controls, Operations, or similar environments;\n\nGood understanding of trading activities, financial products, and market operations;\n\nExperience performing controls, reconciliations, investigations, or operational risk activities;\n\nKnowledge of middle-office processes and control frameworks;\n\nExperience analyzing financial transactions and identifying anomalies or control breaches;\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills;\n\nAbility to produce and interpret management information, KPI reports, and operational metrics;\n\nAbility to adapt and improve operational processes and control frameworks;\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;\n\nGood knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint;\n\nExperience within investment banking, capital markets, or trading environments is considered a strong advantage;\n\nKnowledge of conduct risk, regulatory controls, or market abuse frameworks is considered a plus;\n\nExperience working in international and multicultural environments is considered an advantage;\n\nFluency in English.\n\nWhat We Offer\nStable professional career\nWorking with Axians projects becomes an asset to those of us who want to offer stability through a secure career.\nProspects for career advancement\nYou can access training and new certifications that will further elevate your skills.
