This role will be focused on maintaining availability, performance, scalability, and business continuity while supporting the evolution of technology environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.\nWhat You Will Do on a Daily Basis\nAdminister, monitor, and maintain operating systems, servers, networks, and technology platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.\n\nEnsure the availability and performance of critical systems through proactive monitoring and optimization initiatives.\n\nManage virtualization environments, containers, and cloud computing platforms.\n\nImplement and maintain security controls, backup strategies, disaster recovery processes, and business continuity measures.\n\nDiagnose and resolve technical incidents and problems while ensuring agreed service levels are met.\n\nAutomate operational processes and recurring tasks to improve efficiency and reduce risks.\n\nCollaborate in the design and implementation of scalable and resilient technology architectures.\n\nWork closely with development teams to support DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.\n\nDocument operational procedures, configurations, and best practices.\n\nManage updates, patches, and lifecycle activities for systems and platforms, while supporting audits and compliance requirements.\n\nYour Key Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nProactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n\nStrong communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders.\n\nAbility to manage priorities and perform effectively in fast-paced environments.\n\nCustomer-oriented approach.\n\nTeam spirit and collaborative mindset.\n\nAbility to work autonomously with a strong sense of responsibility and results orientation.\n\nYour Main Qualifications\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nSolid knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.\n\nExperience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and/or container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nExperience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).\n\nKnowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools.\n\nKnowledge of scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.\n\nFamiliarity with information security best practices.\n\nProfessional proficiency in English.\n\nAvailability to work in a hybrid model, splitting time between the Alcanena and Lisbon offices, with one remote working day per week.\n\nWhat We Offer\nStable professional career\nWorking with Axians projects becomes an asset to those of us who want to offer stability through a secure career.\nProspects for career advancement\nYou can access training and new certifications that will further elevate your skills.
