Someone who understands how software performs in production, takes responsibility for technical decisions, and wants to make a meaningful impact.\nThe Opportunity\nYou'll join a collaborative engineering team developing and maintaining scalable, cloud-based applications.\nThe role is backend-focused (approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend), giving you the opportunity to work across the stack while solving interesting backend engineering challenges.\nYou'll have the autonomy to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle.\n What You'll Be Doing \n Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.\n Build modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.\n Take ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production.\n Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.\n Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.\n Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term engineering improvements.\n Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\n What We're Looking For Previous software engineering experience within a fintech company.\n Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining production applications.\n Solid backend engineering skills, ideally with Node.js and TypeScript.\n Experience with modern frontend technologies, preferably React.\n Practical experience working with AWS, GCP or Azure.\n Good understanding of APIs, software architecture, testing and deployment practices.\n The ability to independently solve technical problems and take ownership of engineering deliverables.\n We're particularly interested in engineers who have owned systems beyond development, including deployment, performance, reliability, and ongoing production support.\n Experience with alternative backend technologies such as Java, Go or Python is also valuable.
