This position directly supports the nation’s ambitions of landing the first woman and next man on the surface of the moon.\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nManage or participate in all aspects of flight harness development including:\nDesign\n\nProcurement\n\nFabrication\n\nTesting\n\nInstallation\n\nConduct research for appropriate selection of connectors, backshells, contacts, cable sleeving, and shielding\n\nCalculate bundle diameters, bend radii, and deratings of wires\n\nWork with stakeholders and component owners across the organization to ensure designs are compliant\n\nCreate harness drawings, schematics, manufacturing instructions, test plans, and other documentation\n\nManage procurements and project schedules\n\nTroubleshoot issues with building and testing\n\nCommunicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership\n\nImplementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle\n\nPerform additional job duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with 4+ years of experience\n\nComfortable driving forward and delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments\n\nAbility to communicate and problem-solve proactively\n\nPreferred\nExperience with NASA-STS-8739.4A\n\nExperience with spaceflight or harsh environment rated electronics\n\nExperience with NASA or DOD requirements and regulations\n\nProficiency in Altium, Solid Works Electrical, or equivalent software packages\n\nCore Skills\nPassion for space and the mission\n\nEntrepreneurial, growth mindset\n\nHigh EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally\n\nTech-solutioning in using systems and tools to move smarter and faster\n\nCore Competencies:\nEmbody our core values of leadership, innovation, and teamwork.
