This DevSecOps Manager will be responsible for leading a team that builds and maintains secure, scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for mission-critical systems and integrate security into all phases of the software development lifecycle for the Axiom Space Commercial Space program in Houston, TX. Candidates with a solid foundation in container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and security compliance, particularly within regulated or high-security environments. are encouraged to apply.\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and execute the organization's DevSecOps strategy and roadmap\n\nLead, mentor, and manage DevSecOps engineers and cross-functional teams\n\nFoster a culture of security, automation, and continuous improvement\n\nPartner with engineering, security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to align objectives\n\nDefine team goals, KPIs, and performance metrics\n\nIntegrate security controls throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)\n\nDesign and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines\n\nAutomate security testing, code scanning, and compliance validation\n\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security best practices\n\nStandardize deployment and release management processes\n\nOversee application security testing, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Software Composition Analysis (SCA), Container and image scanning, and secrets detection\n\nCoordinate vulnerability remediation with development teams\n\nManage security risk assessments and threat modeling activities\n\nCommunicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership\n\nImplementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle\n\nPerform additional job duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
