Working under the direction of an attorney or senior compliance professional, you will help clients manage day-to-day trade compliance needs and maintain effective legal and compliance processes. This role is suited to a paralegal with relevant experience who is interested in supporting trade compliance work as part of a broader legal or compliance practice. This is an existing vacancy.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport attorneys and compliance professionals with trade compliance matters.\n\nAssist with researching and tracking applicable import, export, and sanctions requirements.\n\nOrganize and maintain trade compliance records, procedures, and supporting documentation.\n\nHelp review transactions, business activities, and documentation for potential compliance issues.\n\nCoordinate with legal, compliance, and business teams to gather information and support internal reviews.\n\nAssist with preparing compliance materials, reports, and internal guidance.\n\nQualifications:\nParalegal experience supporting a legal or compliance team.\n\nFamiliarity with trade compliance, import/export controls, customs, or sanctions matters.\n\nStrong research, organization, writing, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage documentation carefully and work effectively under attorney or senior compliance direction.\n\nParalegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nExposure to U.S. export controls, including the EAR or ITAR.\n\nFamiliarity with OFAC sanctions or customs requirements.\n\nExperience supporting trade compliance processes within an established legal or compliance structure.\n\nCompensation:The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
