In this role you’ll:\nDevelop and maintain strategic relationships with advocacy groups, non-profits, policy organizations, and related agencies and stakeholders.\nAct as a brand ambassador for Axios, representing the company at events and within the advocacy community.\nIdentify and pursue new partnership opportunities to drive revenue and expand Axios's presence in the advocacy space.\nWork closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.\nWorthy of your time: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios’ mission. This position requires the following:\n5+ years’ experience in the digital media/news industry/sales \nEstablished relationships with key agencies and brands\nUnderstanding of the advocacy landscape in Washington D.C. with established relationships with key stakeholders\nExperience in a media or strategy planning environment \nFamiliarity of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscape\nExceptionally collaborative, both within your own team and cross-functionally \nWillingness to travel and attend industry events and networking engagements\nGrowth mindset with hunger to constantly learn and improve your craft \nComfortable with a mix of outbound sales strategy as well as the nurturing of inbound leads and existing client relationships\nTrack record of successfully hitting targets and quotas\nStarting salary for this role is in the range of $66,000 - $87,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation and benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.\nNote that the total compensation offered for this role includes a sales incentive component, which is contingent upon the successful achievement of predetermined sales targets.\nAxios is committed to embracing artificial intelligence as a core part of how we work.
