With deep knowledge of controls systems, manufacturing processes, and automation technologies, the Senior Mechanical Engineer leads projects of all scales, ensures alignment with customer and company standards, and drives successful system deployment.\n\nResponsibilities: \nDesign and enhance complex equipment layouts, subassemblies, and automation systems using SolidWorks CAD, prioritizing innovation and operational excellence.\nLead project of varying scope, managing cross-functional teams, budgets and timelines from concept to completion. \nCollaborate with Process/Cost Engineers to optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and scalability, aligning technical precision with business goals.\nEnsure adherence to customer specifications and Axis standards, incorporating advanced methodologies to boost system performance.\nConduct impactful technical design reviews, presenting clear and persuasive strategies to customers, executives, and teams to align goals and gain support.\nBuild strong relationships with external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and resource coordination.\nProvide expert guidance during integration, testing, and validation, addressing complex issues with reliable solutions.\nDeliver on critical tasks assigned by the Mechanical Engineering Manager, upholding exceptional standards of quality, timeliness, and innovation.\nDrive continuous process improvements by analyzing metrics and customer feedback, enhancing efficiency and quality while promoting adaptability.\nChampion Our Operating Principles: You will be expected to actively embody and uphold our ten Operating Principles, which guide our every action and decision at Axis Automation. These principles are key to our culture and success.\nQualifications: \n Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).\nExperience: Minimum 5 years in mechanical design and automation engineering.\n Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).\nComprehensive knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).\nExtensive experience developing detailed design packages for automation equipment.\nStrong understanding of controls systems, manufacturing processes, and robotic integration.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.\n\nCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written skills to engage diverse audiences and lead discussions.\nProblem-Solving: Strategic, detail-oriented thinker with a track record of solving multifaceted engineering challenges.\nLeadership: Outstanding ability to lead diverse, high-performing teams and manage complex, enterprise-level projects.\nMentorship: Develop junior engineers’ technical and professional growth.\nSalary: $90,000 -
