The focus will be on international territories including but not limited to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe in a lead and follow capacity.\nThe role includes managing Coverholders/Binders to ensure performance meets financial and operational metrics, while aligning with audit, conduct risk, and compliance requirements. Your work will help create good customer outcomes across the insurance lifecycle and contribute to AXIS’s reputation for excellence and integrity.\nWhat will you do in this role?\nUnderwrite new and renewal delegated business within agreed authority and support referral underwriting where required.\nBuild and maintain Coverholder relationships and Binding Authority Agreements, ensuring performance aligns with business objectives.\nLiaise with Brokers and Coverholders to identify and develop new business opportunities.\nConduct regular Coverholder reviews and maintain strong working relationships.\nWork with data analysts and actuarial to maintain price adequacy and identify trends\nCollaborate with Conduct Risk and Compliance teams to ensure delegated authority standards are met.\nCommunicate and work to solve underwriting, audit, and conduct risk issues as needed.\nMonitor and report emerging risks or control failures using formal channels.\nEnsure accurate data entry and maintenance of underwriting systems and binder records.\nCoordinate delegated authority processes and support internal/external audits.\nContribute to a culture that prioritises fair treatment of customers and continuous improvement.\nYou may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.\nAbout You:\nWe encourage you to itself to fulfilling this role and help us achieve our goals.\nWhat you need to have:\nDetailed knowledge of Property and Delegated Authority Underwriting.\nFamiliarity with FCA, PRA, and Lloyd’s compliance requirements.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) as well as PowerBI\nAbility to analyse data and present insights clearly and appropriately.\nInfluencing, negotiating, listening, and questioning skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively, managing time effectively.\nWhat we prefer you to have:\nPreference to include delegated underwriting knowledge in United Kingdom and Ireland\nUnderstanding of CAT models and actuarial methods and ability to utilise actuarial tools\nCommercial mindset and ability to work under pressure.\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to build trust and communicate effectively across stakeholders.\nAttention to detail and written communication skills.\nFocus on
