The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in cloud platforms, SaaS, or developer services companies, ideally in a pre-sales, solution architecture, or developer relations/advocacy capacity combined with a passion for working directly with developers to accelerate adoption and deliver meaningful product insights.\nThis is an onsite role is based in our Chelmsford, MA office and there is flexibility to work remotely one day a week.\nWho is your future team?\nYou will be part of the Incubation team, a cross-functional group focused on evaluating, refining, and bringing innovative solutions to market. The team collaborates closely with Product Management, Developer Services, and Go-to-Market stakeholders to ensure successful product validation and adoption. This team operates in a fast-paced, exploratory environment where feedback loops, experimentation, and developer engagement are critical to success.\nWhat you’ll do here as a Developer Solution Architect?\nDrive the evaluation and adoption of a new developer-focused data pipeline service\n\nLead developer onboarding and evaluation processes, guiding prospects through setup, testing, and early production use\n\nSupport hands-on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot programs to accelerate time-to-value\n\nAct as a trusted technical advisor during the evaluation phase\n\nServe as the “voice of the developer” by identifying friction points, gaps, and opportunities\n\nAnalyze and document recurring challenges across the developer journey, including platform and service limitations\n\nDeliver structured feedback and evaluation summaries to Product and Leadership teams\n\nEnhance developer experience by improving onboarding flows, documentation, and technical resources\n\nDevelop reusable technical assets such as reference architectures, scripts, and sample implementations\n\nSupport developer workshops and technical enablement initiatives\n\nPartner with Go-to-Market teams to create technical narratives, demos, and proof points for developers, ISVs, and system integrators\n\nContribute to reporting on program progress, KPIs, and emerging opportunities\n\nRepresent Axis at industry events, trade shows, and developer forums\n\nWhat are we looking for:\nStrong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)\n\nProficiency working with APIs, data pipelines, and developer tools\n\nAbility to quickly understand and clearly explain complex technical systems\n\nExperience supporting developer-facing products or services (e.g., SaaS platforms, APIs)\n\nA problem-solving mindset with a passion for working directly with developers\n\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify true product gaps versus feature requests\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to translate detailed technical feedback into executive-level insights\n\nSelf-motivated, collaborative, and outcome-oriented approach to work\n\nComfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and early-stage environments\n\nWe’d love to hear that you have/are:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field\n\n7+ years of experience in cloud-based software development environments\n\nExperience contributing to or supporting incubation or early-stage product initiatives (preferred)\n\nBackground in data services, computer vision, or AI/ML pipelines (preferred)\n\nPhysical Demands and Travel:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPhysical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.\n\nExpected travel up to 50% including international travel\n\nPay range:\nThe approximate pay range for this location and position is $140,000 - 165,000 OTE. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
