With approximately 2000 connected devices, more than 100 network switches and extensive physical infrastructure, it plays a critical role in development and testing across the organization.\nYou will help keep the environment reliable, scalable and ready for future needs through automation, planning and continuous improvement.\nLocation: Lund HQ (100% on-site)\nWho is your future team?\nYou will join R&D Tools, a Platform Engineering team supporting AXIS OS development at Axis. Our mission is to make it easy for software teams to build, test, integrate and release AXIS OS, the Linux distribution that powers our products.\nThe device infrastructure is an important part of that mission. You will work closely with stakeholders across Axis to maintain and evolve a shared engineering environment.\nOur culture is characterized by openness, trust and collaboration. We value work-life balance, shared responsibility and helping each other succeed.\nWhat will you do?\nYou will take a leading role in the operation, development and long-term evolution of the device infrastructure.\nThis is a varied role combining automation, infrastructure, planning and practical hands-on work. One day you may be analyzing usage patterns or developing automation solutions, while the next you are preparing infrastructure for new products or planning an expansion of the infrastructure.\nYou will help shape the future direction of the device infrastructure by identifying improvements, driving automation initiatives and developing more scalable ways of operating the environment.\nYou will:\n· Maintain and improve the device infrastructure.\n· Develop scripts, tools and workflows that automate manual tasks and simplify operations.\n· Maintain accurate device and inventory information.\n· Monitor usage and capacity needs.\n· Manage device purchases, lifecycle management from onboarding to decommission.\n· Collaborate with product teams to prepare for upcoming products.\n· Define and improve processes and ways of working.\n· Drive physical expansions, from coordinating with Facilities and electricians to building shelves, installing infrastructure, cabling devices and preparing new spaces.\n· Collaborate with other departments sharing the facilities.\n· Contribute expertise when new device infrastructure environments are planned.\nWho are you?\nYou enjoy taking ownership and creating structure in environments where details matter.\nYou are comfortable moving between software, infrastructure and practical hands-on work.
