In this role, you will combine electronics and electrical design with hands-on engineering to develop the equipment used to manufacture Axis products.\nWho is your future team?\nAt Production Systems Hardware, we develop the hardware for the machines that manufacture Axis products. We take solutions from initial concept all the way to fully tested and verified production equipment.\nAs Axis continues to introduce new products and technologies, our production equipment needs to evolve alongside them. Advances in optics, audio, radar and thermal technologies bring new and interesting engineering challenges and give us the opportunity to develop innovative solutions together.\nThe Electronics team consists of four dedicated electronics engineers who specialize in electronics and electrical systems for production equipment.\nWhat you'll do here as Electronics Engineer\nYou will help make sure that our production machines operate safely, reliably and to a high standard of quality. You will contribute to design decisions early on and follow your work through testing and verification.\nYour day-to-day work combines design at your desk with hands-on work on the equipment. You will create electrical schematics, select components and test solutions together with your colleagues, working on both new machines and improvements to existing equipment.\nIn this role, you will:\nCarry out the electrical design of machines used to produce Axis products\nBuild and order prototypes for evaluation\nSolder and carry out other practical tasks on our prototypes\nThe role may include some travel, mainly to our contract manufacturers.\nWho are you?\nYou enjoy understanding how things work and turning technical ideas into practical solutions. You work in a structured way, take ownership of your tasks and follow them through to a verified solution.\nYou enjoy collaborating, sharing knowledge and discussing different approaches. At the same time, you can drive your own work forward independently and ask for support when you need it.
