The Tech Test team is part of the Video Product Test departmentwithinour Quality Assurance organization.AxisQuality Assurance organization currently employs more than 300 testengineers,making us one of the largest QA organizations in the region.
Together, the team supports the Technologies organization within Axis R&D - the organization responsible for developing the platforms and functionalities used in Axis products.
In other words: the technology the team testsendup in products used all over the world. Without solid testing and a genuine commitment to quality, we would not continue to be the world leader in network video. That is exactly why this team, and your leadership of it, matters.
Whatyou'lldo here as Engineering Manager - Tech Test
As Engineering Manager, you will lead the Tech Test team - both the individuals in it and theoperation as a whole.You will also work closely with other QA teams and QA managers across Axis to share knowledge, coordinateefforts,and develop our ways of working.
You will report to the Director of Video Product Test within the Quality Assurance department.
Your main tasks will be to:
Lead the teamof 11 test engineersin their daily activities, making sure everyone can contribute at their best andgetthe support they need
Run the day-to-day operations, ensuring we have the right strategy, competence, testprocessesand tools in place
Collaborate closely with your counterparts across the R&D organization, staying up to date with project plans and resource needs for new projects and technologies
Develop your team and its members - balancing the needs of the company with the needs of every individual
Handle standard management responsibilities such as salary setting, budgeting and recruitment

We'dlove to hear that you have:
A technical M.Sc. or B.Sc. degreeorequivalent
Experience from technical leading roles, with a proventrack recordof leading and developing people and coaching them to discover their full potential
Relevant test experience frompreviousassignments
Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
The following qualifications are a plus:
Experience working with embedded products combining hardware and software
Experience or strong interest in AI andhow it can be used as a tool in testing activities
Practical details: This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site at our Lund headquarters. Travel is limited.
