Working closely with the Sales team, you will provide technical advice, designs and solutions throughout the sales cycle, supporting business growth and strengthening our position as a market leader.\nYour time will be split your time between Axis Academy training and presales technical support, giving you the opportunity to share your knowledge and solve technical challenges. You will deliver engaging Axis Academy classes and customised training tailored to our partners’ needs, building their knowledge and confidence in Axis products and solutions.\nAs part of this role, you will work closely with our Sales Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams across Oceania and share knowledge and ideas with the wider Axis Sales Engineering community across APAC and at our headquarters in Sweden.\nThis position is based in Sydney, Australia.\nKey responsibilities will include:\nDeliver engaging Axis Academy classes and customised training tailored to our partners’ needs.\nSupport partners and customers throughout the sales process with technical advice, solution designs and product demonstrations.\nPrepare clear technical proposals, solution documentation and other presales materials.\nIdentify new business opportunities through partner discussions and an understanding of customer needs.\nWork with system integrators and technology partners to design solutions that meet project requirements.\nCollaborate with Sales, Marketing and the wider Sales Engineering team to achieve the best outcomes for our partners and customers.\nKeep partners informed about Axis products, solutions and technical developments.\nRepresent Axis at industry trade shows and events as required.\nProfile (Requirements for this job)\nRelevant qualifications in Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or a similar field.\nIdeally, experience in a customer facing presales role within the network video or physical security industry.\nExperience delivering interactive technical training, with an understanding of how adults learn and how to adapt sessions to different levels of knowledge.\nGood knowledge of networking, IP technologies and applications is desirable.\nStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.\nAbility to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.\nSelf-motivated, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.\nGood organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance training commitments, presales activities and customer needs.\nType of Employment\nPermanent EmploymentPosting End Date\n2026-11-29Certain roles at Axis require background checks, which means applicable verifications will be done in these recruitments.
