The services provided include advising, implementing, educating and designing solutions based on Axis hardware and software. The role will have an emphasis on providing field and design services across the entire portfolio of Axis products.\nWhat You'll Do Here:\nActs as a role of subject matter expert for design tasks and maintains/updates AEC equipment and network.\nResponsible for supporting Axis based solutions primarily in a pre-sales capacity.\nManage pre-sales research, site design, integration questions, proof-of-concept work\nAssist with virtual sales calls, partner trainings, walkthroughs\nAdvises and makes recommendations involving Axis hardware and software platforms.\nProvides design training, system design and best practices for Axis Sales organization, channel partners, program partners and end customers as required.\nAnalyze tech support cases in the area for trends, outstanding cases and other potential issues and engage sales team as needed\nFollow up/management of escalated tech support tickets\nEducates and disseminates information on best practices both internally and externally.\nResearches and identifies ways to provide better services and offerings to Axis partners.\nWhat we are looking for:\nExtensive system design and integration experience (site surveys, camera placement, network design, bandwidth/storage calculations, pixels on target, application drawings (Visio, CAD), etc\nStrong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, VPN’s, etc.)\nExtensive knowledge of image quality, video transport protocols and compression technologies\nStrong sales mentality and customer relationship skills\nProven ability to work in cross functional teams and business units\nPositive customer-centric attitude\nExcellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelors’ Degree or post-secondary diploma in information technology (IT), networking, computer science, or security and information risk management\n3+ years’ industry experience in customer facing roles related to: systems design, engineering, project management, integration, and/or development.\nPhysical demands:\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
