Together, we leverage our complementary experience in intercom and access control to share knowledge, identify new opportunities, and strengthen the solutions we deliver to our customers and partners.\nTo learn more about our intercom solutions, explore Axis Intercoms.\nhttps://www.axis.com/products/network-intercoms\nWhat you’ll do here as Senior Electronics Engineer?\nIn this role, you will:\nTake part in our roadmap planning work, driving future technology choices\nParticipate and lead early pre-study and feasibility work followed by prototyping and debugging\nDesign new intercom products, including schematics, component selection, and BOM management, with a focus on quality, manufacturability, cost, and performance\nProvide technical leadership by leading design reviews, coordinate technical activities, and maintain high-quality engineering documentation while supporting the team's progress and successful delivery of project objectives.\nPlan and carry out testing and verification to ensure designs meet both functional and regulatory requirements\nLead cross-functional collaboration with software, mechanics, and test teams to deliver well-integrated product solutions while driving project execution ensuring achievements of milestones in time\nWho We Are Looking For\nWe are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting and takes initiative to drive things forward. You enjoy working across disciplines, sharing knowledge, and taking responsibility for your part of the product development journey. You are proactive, results-oriented, and motivated by seeing your designs come to life in real products.\nWhat we need you to bring:\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience\nProven experience in developing hardware products from concept and schematic design through verification, production, and product maintenance\nStrong ability to collaborate across disciplines and influence technical decisions while communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.\nSelf-driven and proactive, with a proven track record of taking ownership, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering high-quality results.\nFluency in English, which is our working language\nBasic proficiency in Swedish\nWillingness to travel occasionally\nBonus points if you also have:\nPrevious Experience from working with Camera sensors, Display technologies and NFC or other types of Reader technologies\nFamiliarity with regulatory certification processes, such as EMC, RED, and Safety directives\nWorking knowledge of Xpedition (schematic/layout tool) and/or Windchill (PLM)\nExperience collaborating with suppliers and guiding a product through manufacturing at an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider\nComfort with the full product lifecycle - from development concept to volume production and market support\nWhat Axis has to offer\nWe are a world leader in network video, where cutting-edge technology meets global impact.
