We're looking for talented team members to join our early team and execute on an ambitious roadmap.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Product Manager at Axle, you’ll drive product definition for Axle's agentic platform and interfaces. You take what our GTM teams, including Forward Deployed Product counterparts, learn from the field, assess priority based on opportunity potential and technical complexity, and then scope and launch projects that continue to improve Axle's reliability, accuracy, and ease of use across market segments and insurance lines.\nGuide the Roadmap\nTranslate client feedback into clearly scoped product requirements that Engineering can execute against without ambiguity.\n\nPartner with Engineering to determine complexity, dependencies, milestones, and constraints.\n\nWork directly with Axle's leadership to prioritize projects into the product roadmap based on opportunity size and overall business strategy.\n\nDefine and iterate on Axle's product vision, principles, and success metrics, e.g., conversion, coverage, retention, etc., across its offerings.\n\nBuild the Product Foundation\nHelp establish Axle’s product management function - building repeatable processes, tooling, and frameworks as the company scales.\n\nCommunicate product capabilities to customers and partners across various channels.\n\nMaintain and evolve Axle’s product documentation and guides for both internal teams and external developers.\n\nGrow into a trusted internal authority on Axle’s product capabilities, limitations, and roadmap - the person Sales, CS, and Engineering all rely on to understand what’s possible.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering Lead, or other product or technical lead roles.\n\nStrong technical fluency: solid understanding of AI agents, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and system integrations. You don’t need to write production code, but you need to speak confidently with engineers and clients about how things work under the hood.\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication - able to translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives and tradeoffs for technical and non-technical audiences alike.\n\nA track record of making smart, defensible prioritization decisions that balance competing stakeholder needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.\n\nSharp product intuition - you can walk out of a client design session and immediately know what matters, what doesn’t, and what needs to be built.\n\nFounder mindset: simplify, move fast, and embrace feedback.
