Responsibilities include performing polysomnographic (PSG) recordings based on individual patient requirements, reviewing study protocols with participants, conducting patient assessments, documenting observations, and scoring sleep records. The role also provides technical support and training to research staff and contributes recommendations during study planning.\nAdditional Qualifications\nEducation\nNDT Program.\nField of study: Medical Technologies Technicians.\nCertifications & Licenses\nREEGT.\nSkills\nPolysomnographic recording.\nDeliverables\nProduce work products and documentation related to PSG recordings performed on demand, including one or two nights of recording per patient and monitoring based on individual patient requirements, such as leg movement, apnea, and sleep behavior - Daily.\nStatement of Work Details\nPerform PSG recordings on demand, including one or two nights of recording per patient.\nConduct PSG recordings based on individual patient requirements, including monitoring leg movement, apnea, and sleep behavior.\nReview study protocols with participants and monitor study procedures.\nMonitor patients undergoing sleep testing and perform patient assessments.\nDocument routine observations, changes in procedures, and other events relevant to scoring sleep records.\nMaintain study logbooks, records, and computerized files.\nScore sleep records.\nMaintain the proper care and function of instruments and make minor adjustments.\nProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to research and study staff performing neurodiagnostic testing.\nAttend research and study planning meetings and recommend neurodiagnostic testing methods and procedures.\nProvide neurodiagnostic testing expertise to researchers designing, planning, and documenting studies.\nTrain and mentor new technicians.\nDisclaimer: The above description is meant to illustrate the general nature of work and level of effort being performed by individuals assigned to this position or job description.
