While working closely with site leadership and the Talent Management team, the Human Resources Generalist supports talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy administration, training and development, compliance, and employee support initiatives. The role serves as a trusted resource to employees and leaders, helping ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices, and takes an active role supporting programs that strengthen organizational effectiveness and the overall employee experience.\nRequirements of the HR Generalist\nBachelor’s degree required.\nMinimum 3 years of progressive and diverse human resources experience in a manufacturing environment\nStrong oral/written communication skills, good listening skills, a team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization\nMust be adept at analyzing facts and issues, able to recommend a course of action and know when to compromise and when to be assertive\nDemonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite\nEffectively manage time and prioritize workload, assume and manage multiple tasks without close supervision, adapt to change, and consistently meet deadlines\nWillingness to travel up to 10% of the time\nResponsibilities of the HR Generalist\nThe specific duties of the HR Generalist include but are not limited to:\nSupports HRBP led initiatives that promote a positive employee experience which reflects Axogen's Values and Leadership Expectations of fostering a culture of trust, respect, accountability, and inclusion.\nBuilds strong relationships across the organization by establishing credibility, maintaining integrity, and serving as an approachable resource for employees and leaders.\nSupports HR programs, policies, and procedures that enhance operational effectiveness, improve employee experience, and ensure consistency across the organization.\nPartners with leaders throughout the talent lifecycle, including support and coordination of recruitment efforts, selection, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding, to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent.\nSupports HRBP led talent management activities, ensuring positive employee experience through onboarding, development, engagement, and retention practices.\nMaintains job descriptions in accordance with Axogen standards, performs an initial review for completeness and consistency, and submits recommendations to the HRBP for final review and approval.
